Taking up residence in a heritage-listed building, our family run eatery has all the personality and flair of an authentic Spanish Brasserie. Cooking up a storm is Chef-Owner Javier Codina. His love of fresh produce inspires him to hand-select his fruit, vegetables and herbs direct from the markets which means menu items could change daily based on what’s perfect and what is in season.

Our MIBRASA charcoal oven serves the most sublime Meats that go perfectly with our carefully chosen selection of Spanish and Australian Wines and Beers.

  • The tapas at Moda never disappoints. This place is consistently excellent. This time we shared five different types of tapas of our choice and everything was outstanding. The crab with mango was exceptional. It was so fresh and full of the flavour of summer in Queensland. The seafood paella was also outstanding. In fact it is often difficult to choose what we like best here because everything is so good. The staff are all very well drilled but also relaxed, friendly and knowledgeable about their menu. Javier has been there every time we have dined here, which is always wonderful to see. This is a Brisbane classic and if you haven't had tapas here, you are missing out on a great dining experience.
