With the Brisbane G20 Summit less than four months away, planning, organising and logistical requirements are reaching fever pitch in Brisbane. Teams of G20 members have been busy securing private venue spaces for media personnel, VIP’s, diplomats and delegates who will be working around the clock taking part in the proceedings and filing news stories over the period.Event 05

We always look forward to welcoming international guests to the city of Brisbane, and offering our corporate hospitality and food and beverage service. We also expect to be a restaurant and private function venue of choice during the G20 period, of which official activity will start as early as the last week of October.

Media personnel arrive in Brisbane early for positive press coverage

Already in 2014 Brisbane has been host to international journalists from Peru, Argentina and China where wide reaching coverage surrounding Brisbane as the host city for the G20 summit has been distributed.

After scoping out and getting a feel for the river city earlier this year, many of the same media personnel will be returning to Brisbane in November with a better sense of what the city has to offer. Of course we hope that includes a visit to our restaurant, and taking advantage of some of the other sightseeing opportunities in Brisbane, in their downtime.

These press junkets have been coordinated in conjunction with Brisbane marketing and have seen the more than 60 online, print and television reports generated. There’s no doubt that the media coverage will increase during the next four months, reaching a peak during the week of mid- November when then event is held.
